Mateusz Krau twurst

Born on May 2nd, 1986 in Glogow (Southwestern Poland)

After graduating Jazz and PopMusic Faculty at the University of Zielona Góra (Western Poland)
he started to produce audio and live music in Poland with a huge passion to mixing styles and in love with
Frank Sinatra, Kurt Elling, D'angelo, Erykah Badu, Marcus Miller, Fred Hammond and Kenny Garret.
From high school he was rewarded pirts prizes on the national vocal contests. In 2006-2007 he was
singing with The London Comminuty Gospel Choir (the famoust gospel choir from England) on the
european tour. After their last concert in Saloniki (Greece) he decided to create his own music story by
moving from London to Warsaw. In 2011 he released his first album The Positve. The premiere of his solo
album called „Gdzieś Pomiędzy” („Somewhere in Between”) has place in May, 2014.
Mateusz is known as the finalist of The Voice Of Poland but also from his 10 performances with the
big-band from polish edition of Star Academy in main tv channels in Poland. He use to cooperate with the
bunch of polish top-class artists, wrote more than 150 songs and produced many conerts and records.
Last year Mateusz Krautwurst recieved triple Platinum Album for his performance on Wojtek Sokół
song "Lepiej jak jest lepiej" by selling more than 100.000 copies of his album.

A song from the album called „Pokolenie 14/44” („Generation 14/44”) based on poems from the
time of Warsaw Uprising in 1944. A project was a collaboration of jazz artists with the top polish hip-hop
performers. The song co-written by Mateusz Krautwurst became a singiel of the album with it's beautiful
