As you can read in the enclosed newsletter, the developments concerning Ruah Chaim seem to run rapidly after one other. We are still getting used to the new board composition and working on community development as we notice some beautiful challenges with regards to a location. We are in contact with several owners of different locations. Every of those locations has its own pros and contras. The most important is that all are very suitable to really getting started with that fysical (not only spiritual) community and the all are suitable right away or rather soon for receiving guests. One location is really great. This one will be available within short time and no large changes need to be made immediately. After occupying the building we can start almost immediately with the 24/7 prayer house, giving teachings and have reflection evenings, praise evenings and with the start of a new season (or sooner) we can start receiving groups and organize retreats. An other advantage: until this moment quite a number of groups is known with the house and they might be interested in returning when we start overthere. You might understand that we like to appeal on you. As we wrote in our newsletter the most important support you can give is your prayers. Besides that we could do with some volunteers who incidently or more frequently are available for helping with the maintenance of the building and the gardens, receiving guests, prepare meals, etc. etc. Without that kind of help we wont succeed running the house or receiving guests. We also need support of people who can help us with financial funds. We ourselves can only guarantee for a small part of the capital we need; e.g. by selling real estate and through the income of our jobs. We also hope to be able to get a loan from a bank and we try to obtain grants from various institutions.

This all will be far from enough! Maybe you are in the position to financially support Ruah Chaim and/or maybe you know people who are. When we talk about financial support you can think of structural monthly a fixed amount, heirs, legacies, gifts, donations or interest-free loans. At this moment we are NOT asking for your money. But we need guarantees for a large amount in Euros within a very short time. For people who have to pay Dutch income taxes: we are starting the procedure to get the ANBI-status, meaning that gifts etc. will be tax-deductable. Are you one of the people who can support in any way? Than we like to hear from you how. Wether it is about prayer, a helping hand in maintenance, or financial support, please let us know. You can do that by filling out the form below and send it back to us by regular mail or e-mail. You find our address at the first page of this letter or in the newsletter. If yould prefer some more information before making any decision, dont hesitate to contact us through phone, or (e-)mail. In all cases we will provide you with an answer as soon as possible.
