Key Points:
• Summer Internship is a Compulsory Subject for semester 7.
• Duration for SIP is of 15 days (including weekends)
• It should start on 11th June or latest by 13th June and should be finished before
commencement of semester 7(before 30th June)
• Student can select from below options:
o Online Industry Internship
o Offline Industry Internship
o Mini Project
• Student need to generate either completion certificate or appointment letter for
the given duration if Internship is selected.
• Attending lectures of semester 7 is compulsory, Department as well as college is
not responsible for longer duration internship. No certificate will be issued for 1
Month Internship by the department.
• An internship or mini project has to be individual. Group is not allowed.
• Two students can opt for the same company and same technology but work carried
out by the student should be different.
• Student has to prepare Report and PPT for internal and external Viva.
• Format for report will be given from the Department, format has to be strictly
followed. In report you have to add the details of technology that one has learnt
and work carried out during internship.
• A company for internship can be of outside Ahmedabad but student has to return
while commencement of semester 7.
• Platform or technology can be any technical of CE/IT field related, preferred by
Industry/Company.
• Mini Project can be a small project (80-90% implementation) or complex project
(50% implementation).
• Duplication of work is not allowed.
• For mini project no certificate is required.
