This week has also been a bit slow with regard to learning new things. I do, however, feel

like I’ve improved as a researcher. I’ve also started to notice that I use semicolons way too

frequently, and I should probably work on changing that; I feel as though by overusing them, it

makes it seem like I’m trying too hard to say “Hey, look at me! I’m using semicolons, that makes

me smart!” In other news, after banging my head into a proverbial wall for the past few days,

I’ve finally come up with what I think is a decent idea for my remix artifact. The artifact is going

to be an app or SMS bot that you can text to test your reading speed and comprehension. I could

also give it an option to throw in some texting acronyms. Something like that would probably

take me too long to actually code since I’m still a novice developer, so I might just have to leave

it as a description of how it would work, but I’ll see what I can put together.
