Remix Artifact

ENG 1301 – 91L

My remix artifact is an app that simulates a text message for the user to read, giving them

the option to select textism (acronyms and shortened words used in text messages to make typing

faster) density. The app times how long it takes the user to read the message, then tests their

reading comprehension. Next, it calculates a score based off the time taken to read the message

and the user’s reading comprehension. Below are screenshot examples of how the app would

work.
