CURRICULUM VITAE

A.Poomari, born on 24th May 1975, hails from Thulukkapatti, a

village in Virudhunagar District, Tamilnadu, India. He is now residing in

Sivakasi, the Crackers city in Tamilnadu, India.

He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in

1996, at Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, India. He obtained his

Master’s degree also in Regional Engineering College (Presently National

Institute of Technology), Trichirappalli, India, specializing in Manufacturing

Technology, in 2000. He is presently the Lecturer in Mechanical

Engineering,, Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal Polytechnic College (Government

Aided), Sivakasi,Tamilnadu, India. He has been working in this institution

since 2011. Previously he worked in Sethu Institute of Technology from

lecturer to associate professor level.

His wife Pandiammal is House wife, and they are blessed with a

son, A.P. Gokulkumar and a daughter A.P.Yuvarani who are studying VI

Standard and II Standard respectively.

He is a life Member of Indian society of Technical Education

(ISTE), Indian Cryogenic council (ICC) and Tribology Society of India (TSI).
