GENERAL REFLECTION (How I See Myself)

It’s has never been easy. Since I was a kid, I never had that natural thin, skinny
physique. Everyone who saw me always said that, I will never be skin, my body showed signs of
growing into a woman with a thick figure. I knew that it will take time and dedication for me to
keep myself at a stable weight in order to stay healthy, and prevent any health complications in
the future.

“ONCE YOU SEE RESULTS, IT BECOMES AN ADDICTION” I personally agreed to this

quote from Google because I believe nothing happens if you don’t work hard for it. PATHFit 1
and 2 really serves as my inspiration to change my lifestyle at the same time encouraged me to
exercise every day. At first, it’s been hard for me to discipline myself from the fact that I’m lazy
when it comes to fitness. But, I changed my mindset from I can’t do it to I can do it. Though,
the whole experience is very tough and challenging but I know that I can survive because I love
doing it. I’ve absolutely fallen in love with fitness. I wasn’t as fit, healthy, and physical strong
as I am today without the help of this subject. To keep myself motivated, I created a schedule
for my work outs and strictly started following it until it become natural to me. After 4 months
of work outs since PATHFit 1, I feel stronger, motivated and happy now. I used to become
impatient because I didn’t see results, I almost give up but months later, I learned patience
and stop expected results over night or a week later. I am not saying results are not important,
it definitely is; but I started trusting on my fitness routine and the hard work I am putting in
every single day. As the term 2 ended up, I can see results already and I am proud that I did it.
Toned muscles, curvier waist, bigger hips, and healthier me than before.

All thanks to our course professor in Physical Activity Towards Health and Fitness 2, to sir
Rolly Balbutin, thank you for inspiring us to be engaged in fitness, for teaching us the right
thing to do, and for saying that a small step is okay, just always doing it because at the end of
the day, it’s all worth it. No pain, no gain. My journey never ends here, but I’ll make it as part
of my lifestyle and a habit.
