Power Center

Introduction to Power Center


Power center is a Windows® based software and acts as the primary tool for
configuring the Galooli’s power Corona TR7Z K2 and TR7Z TR5 units, extensions and
sensors.

The system uses standard Windows features and styles such as tool bars, menus, and
property pages.

The power center uses network protocol to communicate with the unit from a remote or
serial connection for direct connection.

Using the power center, you can:

Interface with: Galooli units TR7Z-K2, TR7Z-TR5, EX-20, EX-THE, EX 20-SSR,


EX6I and sensors DC meters, AC meters, fuel sensors.
Read the current values and settings
Upgrade/downgrade unit’s firmware
Change the id for sensors: DC meter, AC meter, and fuel sensor
Change unit parameters
Force location update and manual placement
Set communication information
Reset \ storage mode
Range mode \ set time

Communication Menu
The communication menu contains commands to get the real time info and configure
new settings on the unite.

Request status: request from the unit the last update information log
Request location: request from the unit the last location log
Text message: sending an sms request to the unit
Read all parameters: reading all the parameters that configure on the unit in the
past
Write all parameters: write the parameters that being change to the unit
Config Update Enable: If you need to configure EX6, you must first click on the
Config. Update Enable button in order to enable configuration over the EX6. The
configuration session will be opened for 10 minutes. Once you completed the
configuration, click on the button again to close the configuration session.

Reset device: refreshing the unit after change server and network settings
Clear internal log: clear all log memory from the unit
Set time: setting the time according the current computer
set location: force location by entering coordinates number
Storage mode: Shut down the unit
DC meter 9600:
Upgrade version: Upgrade/downgrade unit’s firmware only wen the unit is
connected with serial connection
Change unite ID: allows to change the ID number
AT terminal: sending an sms request to the modem
Modbus terminal:

Misc Menu

Restore: restore all the manufactory settings


Administrator login: wen firs log in to power canter you need to log in with user
name and password that Galooli support team will provide you.

Service Center
Service center allows the user you connect to the sensors with an RS485 connection
and change parameters in the sensor such as ID, bound rate, zero calibration.

OTA center: Upgrade/downgrade unit’s firmware with wireless condition.


Users management: allows to administrator edit users profile.
Sensors type: DC meter(ce11), AC meter(em24), AC meter(em340), ac
meter(em210), AC meter(ce42), LLS500, ommnicom, HOLYKELL.

Status

The status tab is seperated into 7 departments receiving online data from the unit and
from different sensors that are connected to the unit.

Main device: Receiving online data of the main unit including ID, time, power, backup,
version, On board iOS, GPS, connection status and more.

Ex devices: Receiving online data from the extension devices

Power meters: Receiving online data from the DC\AC meters

Generator: Receiving online data from the DG panel

Rectifier: Receiving online data from the rectifier

Fuel sensor: Receiving online data from the fuel sensor

Smart battery: Receiving online data from the battery

Configuration

Configuration tab allows the user to change and configure parameters to be saved in
the unit.

Communication: Configures the server and network, reporting interval and misc.
iOS: Configures the iOS inputs and output.
Output Control: Displays and controls the output status.
Devices: Configuration of device types and unit ids

Unit Connection to PC

Prior to installing the unit in the asset, the unit needs to be connecting to a PC for initial
configurations and settings.

There are 2 methods to connect a unit to a PC: OTA Connection or Serial Connection

OTA Connection

OTA connection is a wireless connection

OTA connection appears at the bottom left of the page. Click on “contact via” and then
chose “OTA” and then the correct server as provided by Galooli To proceed, click on the
earth icon:

In the new window appearing


Enter the name, password and unit id as provided by Galooli support

Serial Connection

Serial connection is basically a RS485 wire connection. To connect via serial


connection

click on “contact via” and chose the correct

“com” 1,2,3…connection (USB port), if you see on “status”

“main device” the data from the unit you are connect
