1. How important is history to a person, a group/race, and a nation?

History is significant to an individual, a group or race, and a nation.

History is defined as a chronological order of previous events derived from
objects left over from the past and documented (historical writing) to provide
meaning and impact value to what occurred in the past. It will thus serve as a
tool for everyone who is curious about when and how things in the modern
world began. Also, because it is recorded historically, a person, a group/race,
or a nation will be aware of the origins of a current occurrence. It recounts a
tale that is important to the next generation because they will understand its
significance and it may serve as a reference for dealing with current and future
situations.

2. What is Historical Criticism?

Historical criticism, in my perspective, criticizes historical data. It

investigates the historical accuracy of the data. We can evaluate if the text is
reliable or not by thoroughly evaluating and analyzing it. As a result, historians
will only be able to give accurate information about certain occurrences.

3. Discuss whether history must be subjective or objective.

History can be both, but it should err on the side of objectivity. History
must be told without any personal biases or preconceptions, and only the truth
must be told. However, because some of the data from previous events is
incomplete, it might be subjective. As a result, historians may have differing
perspectives on what happened in the past. One can claim that this event
occurred in this manner, whereas the other cannot.
