There are some questiosn for

the Massive MIMO SSB.

The main point is according the Massive MIMO SSB there’s a way to configure
BEAMTEMPLATEID what may customer understand that this is related to different
beam patterns we can set and with it means we have several configuration of TILT
and Antenna patterns (In AAU5711 documentation mention that AUU supports only
5~10 but if considered different beams patterns this should change).
1.Basically we need to understand what means the BEAMTEMPLATEID?
2.What’s the adaptation of beam is expected to FDD Massive MIMO SSB in order to
fit with coverage requirements?
3.Is there any way in FDD MassiveMIMO to configure different Beam patterns in
SSB, What will create new possibilities of TILT?

4.For SSBconfiguration we don’t have so complex configuration that will allow

differentpattern configuration related to TILT and Azimuth configuration?
Thosecurrently configuration of TILT and Azimuth offset is limited be AAU
datasheet?

1.Sector beamformingapplies weights to cell beams in a sector so that the beam

patterns are adaptedto UE distributions. In this way, it achieves spatial multiplexing
gains andbeamforming gains and improves cell capacity. Huawei provides beam
deployment modesand weights for typical UE distribution

scenarios in the beam weight file. This file is integrated into the eNodeB software
package. TheBeamTemplateId & BeamDeploymentMode parameter in the
SectorSplitGroup MOspecifies the beam form for eNodeB beamforming.

2.Toensure that the coverage remains unchanged during SSB deployment (compared
withthat before reconstruction), the EIRP must be the same as that
beforereconstruction. This can be calculated using a tool. In the common SSB
solution(when the AAU5726 or AAU5711a is used), it is recommended that
BeamTemplateIdbe set to 4 and BeamDeploymentMode  set MODE_2,

3.Fordetails, check  questions 1 and 2. The eNB supports  config differentbeam

modes. However, BeamTemplateId be set to 4 and BeamDeploymentMode
setMODE_2, is recommended. In this case, four beams can be formed to achieve
themaximum gain in heavy-load scenarios. For details about the beam shapes
afterdifferent beam modes are configured, check  question 1.

4.Afterthe beam form is determined, the tilt and azimuth supported by the SSB
solutioncan be adjusted and are controlled by the SectorSplitCell.CellBeamTilt
&SectorSplitCell.CellBeamAzimuthOffset,

Thecell beam tilt adjustment range is as follows:

AAU5711a(1.8G):[4,10]

AAU5711a(2.6G):[5,10]

AAU5726:[5,9]

Cellbeam azimuth adjustment range:

[-30,30]Set this parameter based on site requirements. The recommended value range
is[-10, 10].
