Log In WordPress

1. Install WordPress in your hosting account from C-


panel

2. Login www.example.com/wp-admin

3. Enter your Email and Password

Themes

A WordPress theme changes the design of your website


and its layout. Changing your theme changes how your
site looks.

To change Theme:
Appearance Themes
Select “Add New”
Choose your Themes & Install Theme
Activate
Customize Theme
1. Site Identity (Logo, Title & Site Icon)
2. Colors
3. Header
4. Background
5. Widgets

NOTE: After every


change must click
Publish.
Menu and Widgets
Appearance -> Menu
Primary Menu appears at the Top of the page.

Sub Menu: Click and hold a menu item, drag it to a new


position before releasing the mouse button to drop it in
place.

Widgets are used to give sidebar and bottom bar in website.

Page -> Add New

1. Title
2. Permalink
3. H1, H2, H3 and Paragraph
4. Add Media (Image, Audio, Video)
5. Bullets Points and Number
6. Internal and External Links
7. Featured Image
Publish Draft Edit Delete
Post

Post -> Add New

1. Title
2. Permalink
3. H1, H2, H3 and Paragraph
4. Add Media (Image, Audio, Video)
5. Bullets Points and Number

Publish Draft Edit Delete
Action Step

1. Choose a Theme for your website


2. Customize theme (Menu & Widgets also)
3. Create at least two pages About Us and Home
