This research aims to:
assess the diversity
and composition of
lower crop
community in such
conservation area
Methods

This research is considered survey-based research

Lower Crop Community sampling technique

using plots and quadrates are used to collect the
abundance data of vegetation cover
plots and quadrates

quadrates 4, 5x5 m quadrates 1, 5x5 m

quadrates 3, 5x5 m quadrates 2, 5x5 m

TITIK SAMPLING
H’ index

The H’ index then measured using

checked
Shannon-Wienner measurement
using PAST to ascertain the level
of species accumulation curve

H’ = Diversity Index
Pi = Proportion of N Made up of the ith species
N = Species Count
Results
The result reported the amount of 122 plant species
with several species is found in a high abundance
and causing higher dominance index and in turn,
causing H’ index to decrease
Results
The measured H; index (1, 03) is
considered low showing problems of
species equitability
Conclusion

The measured diversity index tells the low level

of species equitability.

Dominant low crop species tends to found in a

high density and may prevent natural
succession process of many important plant
seeds
