Yayasan Kasih Suwitno (YKS) will work with the Ministry of Health to strengthen HIV and STI services for

high-risk groups in 30 Districts across Indonesia supported by Global Fund for AIDS TB and Malaria

(GFATM). Currently, YKS is recruiting technical staff to support sites with training, reporting, monitoring,

and evaluation. YKS urgently needs:

1. Provincial Coordinator – Doctor: 5 person

2. Technical Mentor – Doctor: 10 person

3. Technical Mentor - Lab Technician: 10 person

4. Technical Mentor - Data Officer: 10 person

5. Hospital Technical Mentor – Doctor: 9 person

Recruitment Qualification
Experience:

1. Minimum of 3 years of progressive responsibility in related work experience, preferably

in handling the HIV/AIDS case

2. Work experience within the HIV/AIDS program is a distinct advantage, and it is a

requirement.

3. All candidates must have good communication skills, both spoken and written, and be

able to use MS Office programs, English language skills are a plus.

The Job Description:

PROVINCIAL COORDINATOR:

1. Establish good coordination and collaboration with the provincial health office (PHO) and the health

office districts/cities, partners/stakeholders, and communities related to STI and HIV programs

2. Support the mentoring team and mentoring officers in districts/cities regarding program

implementation including program administration arrangements, for example, memorandums of

understanding or letters of acknowledgment from district/city health offices for health services

regarding technical assistance provided

3. Act as the liaison function between the provincial health office, district/city health office, mentoring

team, and mentoring officer with the national support team

4. Provide problem-solving support at the provincial, district/city, and facility-level

5. Ensuring the implementation based on the work plan to achieve the target

6. Prepare monthly reports on progress, challenges, and feasible plans based on monitoring and local

reporting on treatment cascade targets 95-95-95 at the district/city level

7. Support the mentoring team and mentoring officers in running monthly coordination meetings with

the health office, health services, and the community.


TECHNICAL MENTOR (DOCTORS, LABORATORY TECHNICIANS, DATA OFFICERS)

1. Support the district/city health offices (DOH) to improve district/city assistance management by

strengthening the monitoring and supervision mechanism of the mentoring team so as to increase

its effectiveness and district/city efficiency

2. Provide direct technical assistance to health workers in health care facilities in improving case finding

and treatment of HIV and HIV related diseases such as TB/HIV and STIs, program management, data

management, and laboratory 19

3. Ensure that all selected health services are developed to be able to implement HIV and STI programs

comprehensive, especially for case finding, ARV treatment, TB prophylactic treatment, and

administration of STI treatment

4. Provide technical assistance to district/city health offices to produce data analysis of the mentoring

process in districts/cities to understand gaps/barriers that need to be addressed to improve cascade

outcomes in district/city medicine

5. Act to assess whether the identified gaps are addressed in the treatment facility following team

supervision mentoring, collect information about the performance of ARV services, and submit it to

the health office districts/cities and mentoring teams so that risk-based supervision can be carried

out

6. Provide direct technical assistance to district/city assistance teams in improving quality

training/capacity building and/or assisting in direct service delivery at the facility level along with

program expansion and improvement

7. Ensure the implementation is in accordance with the work plan to achieve the target
8. Generate monthly reports on progress, challenges, and actionable plans based on process technical

assistance in every health service in the district

HOSPITAL TECHNICAL MENTOR – DOCTOR:

1. Provide direct technical assistance to health workers in health care facilities in improving case finding

and treatment of HIV and HIV related diseases such as TB/HIV and STIs, program management, data

management, and laboratory

2. Ensure the selected hospital can implement a comprehensive HIV and STI program, especially for

discovery cases, ARV treatment, TB prophylactic treatment, and STI treatment

3. Provide technical assistance to generate data analysis from case findings for service evaluation

4. Provide direct technical assistance with direct service delivery

5. Ensure the implementation is in accordance with the work plan to achieve the target

6. Generate monthly reports on progress, challenges, and actionable plans based on process technical

assistance in every health service in the district/municipality
