1.Promotion – The movement of employees
from one job to another of higher position, salary and the duties and responsibilities.
2.Demotion – The movement of an employee
from one position to another of a lower rank, status and responsibilities. 3.Transfer – Take places when employee is moved from one job to another of equivalent rank on the firm.
4.Layoff – Separation from the organization

5.Termination – Permanent separation from the
job. 6.Resignation – This is when employees voluntarily decide to end their employment with an organization.
7.Retirement – This is when employees having
satisfied certain conditions under existing laws and / or provisions of the collective bargaining agreements or upon reaching the age, are separated from employment with entitled to retirement benefits. DEVELOPMENT of HUMAN RESOURCE Human Resources Development – a function of management that registers traces and insures individual progress through continued job proficiency, career growth and individual guidance.
Training – the systematic development of the
attitude, knowledge, skills, behavior pattern required for the adequate performance of a given job or task. Career Planning – the process by which the individual worker patterns and orchestrates his separate but related work activities to prepare him with the organization to take greater job and personal responsibility for his future.
Counseling – the person-to-person relationship
between a professional guide and client in which the former helps the latter solve his own problem.
