Dear Parents/Carers in Year Six,

End of Year Summer Ball 2011

We are pleased to invite all the Year Six children to the above special event which will take place on the evening of Tuesday 19 July 2011. The invitation to this end of year celebration is given to all the children in the school achieving 100% attendance in 2011 with the following exceptions/additions, which may be of interest to the Year Six children:

The Ball will be approximately one hour longer for all Year six children. For example, the younger childrens invitation will be for 5.30 6.30 p.m. but the Year Six children will be invited to stay until 7.30 p.m. All Year Six children will be invited to the Ball as this will also be an end of primary school celebration for them (we wont penalise them if they do miss a days school in 2011 but there is an incentive to be 100% - something which many of the children in this class have been the best at over the past few years). That incentive is. Wouldnt your child like to arrive at the Ball in style in a limousine like this one? For any Year Six child with 100% attendance and punctuality for 2011 we will collect them from their home and bring them to the Ball. We will ask that you pick them up yourselves at the end. Please note the limousine will start from the houses closest to the school, driving out and collecting those furthest away before coming back for a grand arrival at school.

Exciting? Over to you and your child to ensure they arrive in style to this event. Please note that any attendance at secondary school tests, open days, induction days will not affect a childs 100% as long as a pupil special leave form is submitted prior to these days.
