Our Loving Heavenly Father, hear our prayer, we are Your children
and we've gathered here today. Our Father, who art in Heaven
Hallowed be thy name, forgive our sins as we pray. See our hearts and
remove anything that is standing in the way of coming to you today.
We praise you because we are fearfully and wonderfully made; your
works are wonderful, you created all of us in your image.
Father, today we celebrate world down syndrome day. May your
blessings be showered upon them today and every day. May they
know the love and value they bring to our world. Refresh them. Give
them strength to press on each day.
Lord, thank You for creating every child. May they experience, Your
deep love every day. Through Your Spirit, help professionals who
work with children with down syndrome and help community leaders
to walk in humility to eliminate destructive stigma toward people with
down syndrome.
I pray for their health, that they will be able to have a quality of life
despite their underlying medical conditions. I pray for them all, that
they will be an inspiration to others around them with their warm
personalities and talents. In the wonderful and magnificent name of
our saviour Jesus Christ amen!!
