Definition
· Industrial Chemistry is the branch of chemistry
which applies physical and chemical processes
towards the transformation of raw materials into
products that are of benefit to humanity.

we will focus on:


· process variables, material and energy balances;
water treatment and its use in industry, mineral
acids, chlor-alkali industries, industrial
derivatives of nitrogen, fertilizers manufacture,
silicate industry, metallurgy and high temperature
materials
