8A - I go to the museum

I went to the Larco museum, in Pueblo Libre (Lima), and a tour guide attended me.

Joel: Good morning, miss. Where are the cloaks of the Paracas culture?

Tour guide: Good morning, sir. Excuse me, but in the museum they don't have cloaks from
Paracas culture.

Joel: Sure, miss. I was wrong, because this museum has objects from the Moche culture.
Certain?

Tour guide: Yes, sir. This museum is dedicated to the Moche culture. The museum was
founded by Rafael Larco Hoyle in 1926.

Joel: But the place was built by Larco?

Tour guide: No sir. The museum was built by the De La Puente family in the 18th century. Mr.
Larco bought this mansion at the beginning of the 20th century. He was very rich in his time!

Joe: It's very interesting. How many objects are there in the museum?

Tour guide: Approximately forty-five thousand Moche ceramics, jewelry, wool and feather
cloaks, and other archaeological objects.

Joe: Really? Are a lot of things!

Tour guide: It is the most beautiful museum in the city of Lima, sir. I recommend you visit the
exhibitions.

Joe: Of course. Thanks for your explanation!

Tour guide: Welcome! Don't forget to buy your ticket!
