Prepare a catalogue of basic components of water supply and sewerage system in tabular form.

-include relevant sketch and its general description.

1. Valves and fittings used in water supply distribution system.

2. Standard sanitary drawing symbols

3. sanitary fixtures and fittings with their standard dimension

Final project marks: 15

Paper format - A3 Submission date – your final exam date

Design water supply (cold and hot) and waste disposal systems for G+2 residence (you can use your last
semester architectural design project) , that include;

 Cold water and hot water supply system layout.

 Waste disposal lines layout including;
 Riser diagram for both supply and disposal systems.
 Sewerage layout that indicates the connection of riser to MH and from MH to ST
 Manhole (MH) and septic tank (ST) detail.

The drawings must indicate all necessary information’s including; Supply riser location, waste disposal
riser locations, Pipe type, pipe diameter, flow direction etc.

Note that

 For water supply consider overhead tank located at roof top

 You should also decide on septic tank location and hot water supply type
 Use different line types for HW, CW and waste water.
