 To properly educate a mixed population, community group about the harmful effects of lead

at 1 mg/kg, I would assess first what language or dialect will be most appropriate for them to
fully understand the contents of the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC)
materials that I will be making. Moreover, since the population is mixed, different IEC
materials must be prepared to suit the learning stage of each population group. In addition,
graphic appeal, appropriate images, and easy to read fonts must also be taken into
consideration. Lastly, the IEC materials may be in the form of poster, flyers and brochures
which can be placed in conspicuous locations and uploaded in different social media
platforms.
