Action Plan for Conducting Face-To-Face Classes

I. Introduction

By decreasing infection figures in our Town and Barangay, it is possible to conduct

limited face-to-face classes by the Joint Memorandum Circular No. 01 series 2021 dated
September 27, 2021, by the Department of Education and Department of Health.

In preparation for these limited face-to-face classes, caution must be observed,

consistency with the public health standards of the government in light of COVID 19 should be
practiced and extensive planning is to be undertaken to prevent the schools from becoming the
epicenter of resurging cases in the area.

II. Preparing face-to-face classes

1. Conduct Parent Orientation through Homeroom PTA meetings.

Teachers in all grade levels conducted Homeroom PTA meetings to orient the parents,
stakeholders, and the community as well about the limited face-to-face classes as stipulated in
DepEd Memo 071 s, 2021, and DepEd-DOH-JMC-No. 01 s, 2021. Matters relating to the said
F2F classes are discussed clearly by the teacher-advisers. Each parent provides a copy of Annex
C form or the Parental Consent and Waiver Form.

2. Classroom preparation

2.1. Arranged seats allocated for a maximum of 20 learners with their corresponding
names and putting markers on 1-meter distancing.

2.2. Removed curtains to ensure ventilation.

2.3. Prepared sanitary materials such as alcohol/hand sanitizer on both entrance and exit
doors. And a thermometer and face masks on the entrance door with a foot mat.

2.4. Designated entrance and exit points in the classroom.

2.5. Trash bins in the proper location.

2.6. Posted signage about health protocols

Printed out different downloaded health protocols/reminders for the benefits of

everyone.

2.7. Repainting of classrooms

Teachers provided paints at their own expense but some were from
stakeholders and private persons to use for repainting of chairs, tables, cabinets,
ceilings, and walls. Some parents helped the teachers in cleaning and repainting of
the classrooms.

3. Teachers’ Preparation

Prepared necessary documents such as new classroom program, list of set A and B pupils,
list of vaccinated pupils and parents, and seat plan.
