People all over the world are facing violence and inequality. Sometimes they are
tortured and even executed. Because they know at a glance who they love and
who they enjoy being with. People are still being harassed after recent changes
and advances. In general, when two gays are sitting together in India, they are
judged together by all passers-by, why? For being lesbians, gays, bisexuals and
transgenders. Over the last decade, LGBT people in India have become more and
more tolerant and acceptable, especially in big cities. Nonetheless, most LGBT
people in India are afraid of discrimination from families who may consider
homosexuality shameful. Discrimination still exists in rural areas where LGBT
people are often faced with family rejection and forced to marry the opposite sex.
Being L, G, B, or T is neither a "problem" nor a "choice" in itself. LGBT people are
people who have different sexual orientations than what they consider to be
"standard" because of the different behaviors they have learned and their
personal perspectives and ways of thinking that are different from others. A
person is as good as dead if he has to live while hiding his essential aspects.

Many countries have legalized same-sex marriage because they love their loved
ones and understand the need to have the freedom to marry.

Every year, many LGBT people face major problems related to violence,
unemployment, discrimination, poverty and lack of medical care. Prejudiced
people are struggling with how people in the LGBT community live. I think these
people are immature. There are still many places in India where we don't know
what LGBT means, as we believe that gay people are not allowed to be part of the
family.

Lastly, I will conclude this by saying that after having changes done by the
government regarding the rights given to the LGBTQIA+ people in India as
equal status, a just and fair struggle for social recognition by LGBT+ will go
on because until and unless people of the country will not accept it there
will be still struggle.
