Subject: Minutes of Meeting with SPF Experts for SGPA Building

Dear Sirs,

Following points were discussed in the meeting held with the Client's earthquake expert along with SPF
team online on Microsoft teams held on July 18:

1) The proposed design of the building by Bhumisa structure engineer is accepted by the Client's
expert Mr. Bing and accepted for submission for municipal approval in Nepal.

2) Bhumisa structure engineer is requested to recheck all drawings as per design and make any
corrections, if needed. Water tank load shall be included at appropriate location as required by
sanitary design.

3) The building is safe as per code requirement, but addition of shear walls in the Block A of the
building shall improve the seismic performance of the building. Since it shall also add both cost in
construction and additional work in design, the Client shall plan for the additional budget.

4) Mr. Bing suggested confirming the calculated base shear used in design as per code, with that
generated by time history analysis using the recorded Gorkha earthquake accelerations scaled up
to 400 gal.

5) If Bhumisa structure engineer can carry out the work, they shall send the completed analysis to
Mr. Bing for review. Else the current model of the building shall be sent to Mr. Bing for the
additional time history analysis.

6) Bhumisa structure engineer shall provide the reinforcement ratio in beams and columns for review
by Mr. Bing.
