School Improvement
This week, we have been planning the 2 training days
in September. The staff return on September 1st so
8.45am – 8.55am start this means we have 2 days to upskill ourselves and
plan for the new year. We will be focusing on:
When the children return to school on Monday 5th  Attendnace
September, the gates will open at 8.45am and will  Computing
close at 8.55am. All children need to be in school by  Phonics
8.55am every day!  Wider Curriculum
Mrs Dawn Smith
After 28 years at Heathmere, today is Mrs Smith’s last Term Dates 2022-3
day. I am sure you will join me in thanking her for 5th September Back to school
everything she has done for all of the children during
her time at Heathmere. Several parents were also 24th–28th October Half term
taught by Dawn when they came here!

Thank You and Goodbye 31st October School closed – training day

We also are saying goodbye today to: Miss Shazia, 16th December Break up for Christmas
Miss Elhag, Miss Maria, Mr Ryan, Miss Sadrodine,
Miss Green, Mr Howland and Miss Ramsamy. We wish 3rd January Back to school
them all lots of luck in their new roles.

Unused Uniform 13th–17th February Half term

If your children no longer require their Heathmere
31st March Break up for Easter
uniform, please either pass onto other families who
you know will use it, or wash and return it to school.
17th April Back to school
We will re-use for other families as needed.

Please make sure all children are back at school on 5th
29th May–2nd June Half term
September. We always want children here on their
first day back so they can settle into their new
