A. Job Instructions
1. Working on case studies, trainings and assignments on the worksheet properly and
correctly.
2. Not allowed to cheat tasks with other students. If the cheating occurred, the lecturer will
impose a penalty to students who asked and gave the answer then both student scores will
be down to 0.
3. All answers of case studies, exercises and assignments are done in the available columns,
and all of you are obliged to write down the work steps.
4. Work is collected with the format NAME-STUDENT ID-T16-CLASS in the folder.
5. After the student finished the case studies, training and assignments, the work has to be
submitted to the lecturer to do the assessment.
6. Students can ask questions if the work descriptions are poorly understood.

B. Worksheet
1. Do the following questions:
 Open excel2016_intropivottables_practice.xlsx.
 Create a PivotTable in a separate sheet.
 We want to answer the question What is the total amount sold in each region? To do
this, select Region and Order Amount. When you're finished, your workbook should

 In the Rows area, remove Region and replace it with Salesperson.


 Add Month to the Columns area.
 Change the number format of cells B5:E13 to Currency. Note: You might have to make
columns C and D wider in order to see the values.

2. Do the following questions:


 Open excel2016_morepivottables_practice.xlsx
 In the Rows area, remove Region and replace it with Salesperson.
 Insert a PivotChart, and choose the type Line with Markers.
 Insert a slicer for Regions.
 Use the slicer to only show the South and East regions.
 Change the PivotChart type to Stacked Column.
 In the PivotChart Fields pane to the right, add Month to the Legend (Series) area.
Note: You can also click the PivotTable and then add Month to the Columns area; the
result will be the same.
 When you're finished, your workbook should look something like this:
