Subject: Regular Replacement of Facing for Winch Speed Reducer
Facing for the winch speed reducer is a critical part which serves as the brakes for
holding a load. When used over long periods of time, facing and gear oil will be
degraded due to aging, which may cause a decrease in braking force
The decreased braking force may cause a lift to move sideways during operation
or fall if worst comes to worst, which is very dangerous. Remember that facing is
a consumable part and so, it shall be replaced at regular intervals.
* Facing means what paper friction material is stuck to the both faces of core
metal (iron plate).
