What are the ways you can help protect the environment (e.g., individual, community, and
global)?
Student’s Answer:

Being a young person means you have more energy and is more physically active than the older people.
Protecting the environment is one of our responsibilities as a citizen of the community. We must make
sure that the environment is ready for the next generation.

One way I can help protect the environment is by joining community cleaning services. But because of
COVID that may not be possible yet. Proper waste segregation is another way in order to help. Using
renewable sources of energy like solar and wind energy instead of electricity can also help protect the
environment from pollution. Another way is to not waste water by using a glass when brushing your teeth
instead of letting the water run.

Helping protect the environment will make sure that we can live in a clean and safe place. If we can
preserve the cleanliness of our environment, diseases will be lessened.
