Task 1:

The chart demonstrates the number of people approaching news through different media in a country
at different times.

Overall, television users outraced other forms of media in alluring people, While the internet started
with the lowest point, it inclined a remarkable development than radio and newspapers.

Television users experienced a fluctuation over 4 years, from nearly 4/5 of the population to slightly
more than 70% in 2017. On the other hand, newspapers show a decrease in attracting readers. The
figures declined gradually from over 40% in 2013 to 30%, which was equal to the number of radio
audiences in the same year. Then, it continued its downward trend to reach the low-point of about 20%
in the next 2 years. Last but nơ least, the Internet showed an impressive development over 4 years.
With just more than 3/10 of the population use the Internet in 2013, it increased gradually to about 40%
in 2015, before hitting a high point of nearly 70% in 2017.

Task 2:

Poaching endangered species has become an alarming problem in over the world. While some people
think we should not invest such a large amount of money to protect these animals, others believe that
saving endangered species is a must. In this essay, I will look into both sides of the matter before my
conclusion is drawn.

On the one hand, people think conservating endangered animals is a waste of time because no effective
policy has come into force. There has not been a heavy fine for people poaching and killing these
animals, leading to the high tendency of committing this crime again. For example, a group of
endangered animal hunters has been put in jail and had to pay a billion-dollar for their action, which
greatly decreased the poaching rate in 2016. Therefore, if the government has passed a persuasive law
to solve this problem, endangered species will have been saved.

On the other hand, we should do our best to protect these animals to remain biodiversity. They play an
important role in nature's life so losing them can lead to great loss. For example, Rhinos - the tigers'
food source has been over-poached recently, which may lead to the extinction of those animals as well
as the tigers.

I think it is wrong to think that saving endangered species is money waste. We curently spend a lot of
money in other unnecesssary things without gaining any progress. So instead of investing money in
those things, we could utilize them to save the endangered animals.
