Final task

I'm going to talk about the fight against segregation by the beatles, I'm
going to talk more specifically about john lennon a member of the group.
John Lennon was born on October 9, 1940, in Liverpool, England. He's one
of the members part of The Beatles, The Beatles were a legendary rock
group that formed in Liverpool, England, in 1960. The Beatles were one of
the most popular bands of all time. The band members are John Lennon,
Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

The Beatles, on their first-ever U.S. concert tour, were astonished to find
that the Jacksonville, Florida Gator Bowl where they had to play was
racially segregated They demanded that the halls not be divided into two
parts: one for whites, the other for blacks. The Beatles refused to perform
until they received an assurance from the promoter that the audience
would be mixed.
John Lennon said "We have never played for a distinct audience and we are
not going to start now,"

In 1971, John Lennon released an album called “Some Time In New York
City,” a snap shot of the tumultuous politics and revolutionary spirit of the
time. Amongst the songs on the record was “Attica State,” an angry
response to the violent repression of a prison riot that took down inmates
rebelling against the murder of a black prisoner in San Quentin.

Lennon passionately pleaded, calling on his fan base to speak out against
the shooting: “Come together join the movement/ Take a stand for human
rights/ Fear and hatred clouds our judgement/ Free us all from endless
night,”.

Venez ensemble rejoindre le mouvement / Prendre position pour les droits

de l'homme / La peur et la haine assombrit notre jugement / Libère-nous
tous d'une nuit sans fin, ".
