 The students will be able to Retell the basic narrative of the Ramayana, and be able to
identify the main characters.
 The students will be able to identify elements of the Ramayana that fulfil the required
elements of an epic poem.

Lesson procedure:
 Introduction:
 Name characters are there in an Epic.
 Name the places mention in an Epic
 Direct instruction:
 In short, we can learn the tradition and life style of the ancient people. In addition to
this we can also learn history of Indian culture.
 Students will be trained for their monthly test.

 Guided practice:
 Make the student to read the text to check the reading comprehension.
 Make the student revise for the test.

 Follow- up practice:
 Motivate the students to collect the information about Ramayana.

 Closure:
 Recapitulate the entire lesson and discussion on book back answers.
