I submit that the Respondent/Petitioner filed the above DVC against us and other Respondents for Domestic Violence Act and for other reliefs. I submit that the above matter was posted to 08/07/2022 for filing our counter. On that day we unable to attend before this Hon’ble Court due to we attend our nearest relative death ceremony, and the same was unable to inform to our counsel for preparing our counter, the Hon’ble Court was pleased torepresentation, the Hon’ble Court was passed set exparte order against us and the matter stands posted to 21/07/2022 for evidence of PW-1. 4. I submit that there is no willful latches or negligence on our part in not attend before this Hon’ble Court due to above reason only. I am herewith filing our counter before the Hon’ble Court along with this petition. Therefore, I pray that the Hon’ble Court may be pleased to set aside the exparte order dated 08/07/2022 passed against me and permit me to contest the matter, in the interest of justice.
