My Classroom and Reflection

This assignment was to be able to map out what kind of classroom I would like to have in

the future when I am done with school. I thought of how it was planned out, but this assignment

was great for me to see a blueprint of my classroom that I dream of teaching in one day.

During this assignment, I learned that space does really matter for what you want in the

classroom. It was difficult to be able to have everything that I want and need in the classroom, so

it truly made me think of what is essential.

Keeping the National Educational Technology Standards, I wanted to make sure that I put

a smart board in the classroom because it would replace the boring and less interactive white

board. This will keep students involved and have resources to be able to make learning enjoyable

and not a stressor.

I learned to plan when setting up my classroom for the future and make sure that

everything that is taking up space will be used and isn’t wasteful. This will help me incorporate

technology into the classroom and not just old fashioned teaching.
