Three Nanny Goats Gruffs

Narrator 1: Once upon a time, there were three Nanny Goats Gruff.
Their names were Annie, Fannie, and Big Bertha Lee. They lived in
a meadow with their kid brothers, Willy, Nilly, and Billy. All day long
they ate fresh green grass.
One day Big Bertha Lee said to the other goats,
Big Bertha Lee: I have sad news. There is not much green grass
left in our meadow. We will need more to eat. We must cross the
bridge and go live on the hillside where there is more grass.
Narrator 2: The nanny goats had lived in the meadow for a long
time. They would miss the meadow. They were sad.
Fannie Goat: Good-bye song
Narrator 1: Annie Goat went to say good-bye to Mr. And Mrs.
Rabbit.
Annie Goat: We are going over the bridge to live on the hillside.
Mr. And Mrs. Rabbit: What?! You’re going across the bridge?!
Chorus: Watch out song
Annie Goat: I will be careful!
Narrator 2: Fannie Goat went to say good-bye to Mrs. Butterfly.
Fannie Goat: We are going over the bridge to live on the hillside.
Narrator 1: The butterfly flapped its wings
Butterfly: What?! You’re going across the bridge?!
Chorus: Watch out song
Fannie Goat: I will be careful!
Narrator 2: The first to go over the bridge were Annie Goat and
Willy Goat.
Chorus: Trip Trap Song
Narrator 1: The mean and ugly troll under the bridge heard them.
Troll: Troll’s Song
Annie Goat: It is I, Annie Goat. I am walking to the hillside with my
kid brother, Willy.
Narrator 2: The troll rubbed his tummy and smacked hid lips.
Troll: Then stop where you are, I will gobble you up!
Annie Goat: Oh, please don’t gobble us up. Don’t have us for your
tea; We are not much good to eat. But if a goat is your prize, why
not try some Goat surprise?
Troll: Goat surprise? Ooooh, that sounds completely yummy! Well,
be off with you!
Narrator 2: After a while. Fannie Goat and Nilly Goat began to cross
the bridge.
Chorus: Trip Trap Song
Narrator 2: The mean and ugly troll under the bridge heard them.
Troll: Troll’s Song
Fannie Goat: It is I, Fannie Goat. I am walking to the hillside with
my kid brother, Nilly.
Narrator 1: The troll rubbed his tummy and smacked hid lips.
Troll: Then stop where you are, I will gobble you up!
Fannie Goat: Oh, please don’t gobble us up. Don’t have us for your
tea, eating us won’t get you far. But to fill your insides, you should
try some Goat surprise.
Troll: Goat surprise? Ooooh! That sounds absolutely great. Well, be
off with you!
Narrator 2: After a while, Big Bertha Lee and Billy Goat began to
cross the bridge.
Chorus: Trip Trap Song
Narrator 1: The mean and ugly troll under the bridge heard them.
Troll: Troll’s Song
Big Bertha Lee: It is I, Big Bertha Lee. I am walking to the hillside
with my kid brother, Billy. If it’s goat that you want, here’s my special
Goat surprise!
Troll: These must be the biggest goats. Mmmmmmm!
Narrator 2: The troll rubbed his tummy and smacked hid lips.
Troll: Then stop where you are. I will gobble you up!!
Big Bertha Lee: Well, come on up and do it!
Narrator 1: The mean and ugly troll climbed up on the bridge. He
looked hungrily at the goats. He raised his mean and ugly arms. Billy
Goat’s legs started to tremble.
Narrator 2: Just then Big bertha Lee lowered her head. She ran
toward the troll and gave him a mighty push with her horns. The troll
was very surprised. He fell over and rolled and rolled across te
bridge. He rolled right into the meadow.
Chorus: Rolling Song
Narrator 1: When the dizzy troll started to get up, Bumblebee came
and stung him on the nose. The troll screamed a mean and ugly
scream.
Narrator 2: The three nanny goats and their brothers were happy on
the hillside. They ate fresh, green grass and got fat. And they are
still probably fat today.
Narrator 1: So…Snip, Snap, Snout, this tale is told out.
