A CITY ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2013-
31 ENTITLED, “AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING BUSINESS
ESTABLISHMENTS AND RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISIONS OPERATING IN
BACOOR, CAVITE TO INSTALL CLOSED CIRCUIT TV CAMERA:

WHEREAS, on 22 October 2009, the Sangguniang Bayan
enacted Municipal Ordinance No. 18, Series of 2009 entitled,
“An Ordinance Requiring Business Establishments and
Residential Subdivisions Operating in Bacoor, Cavite fo Install
Closed Circuit 7V Cameras”.
WHEREAS, on 16 September 2013, the Sangguniang
Panlungsod amended Municipal Ordinance No. 18-S-2009 by
expanding the coverage of the ordinance and increasing the
penalties indicated therein on account of the conversion of
the Municipality of Bacoor into a component city of the
Province of Cavite. Thus, the said ordinance became known
as “the CCTV Ordinance of the City of Bacoor”
WHEREAS, the City Mayor requested the Sangguniang
Paniungsod to further amend the CCTV Ordinance of the City
of Bacoor by requiing all business establishments operating
within the City of Bacoor to install closed circuit television
cameras within their premises
NOW, THEREFORE, curing regular session assembled,
upon motion of Councilor Gaudencio P. Nolasco duly
seconded by all councilors present BE IT ORDAINED AS IT IS
HEREBY ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Paniungsod te amend
various sections of City Ordinance No. 2013-031, which shall
read henceforth as follows:
Section 1. Section 3 of City Ordinance No. 2013-031 are
hereby amended and shall henc read as follows:
"“Sec.3. Scope.-- Ail business and commercial
establishments private schools, factories, privately owned
wet and dry markets, shopping mails, privately owned paid
parking lots, the entrance/exit gates of residential subdivisions

constructed after_the effectivity of this Ordinance, and
hospitals and _privately- owned clinics/laboratories operating
within the City of Bacoor, Cavite, are covered by this
Ordinance.’
Section 2. Repeal. - All existing ordinances that are in
conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed and/or
revised.
Section 3. Separability.—Should any provision of this
Ordinance be declared void by a proper court of iaw, all the
other provisions hereof that are not affected by such
decioration shall continue to have legal force and effect.
Section 4. Effectivity date—This Ordinance shall take
effect immediately afier it has been published once in a
newspaper of general circulation in the Province of Cavite
and after it has been posted in at least three conspicuous
places within the City of Bacoor.
ENACTED this 4° day of September 2014 during the
regular session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacoor.
