This British Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee RHE/19 and is
the English language version of EN 441-3:1994 Refrigerated display cabinets —
Part 3: Linear dimensions, areas and volumes, published by the European
Committee for Standardization (CEN).
EN 441-3:1994 was produced as a result of international discussion in which the
UK took an active part.
This Part of BS EN 441 together with BS EN 441-1 supersedes BS 6148-1:1981
which is withdrawn. The other Parts of BS 6148 together with BS 3053 will be
withdrawn when the corresponding Parts of BS EN 441 are published. The
international standards which are equivalent to BS 6148 and BS 3053 remain in
place as ISO 1992-1 to ISO 1992-8 and ISO 5160-1 and ISO 5160-2 until amended
by ISO.
