Senior Consultant - People Advisory Services

The opportunity

EY is looking for Senior Consultant- People Advisory Services.

Your key responsibilities

 Responsible for independent delivery of small to medium size projects / supporting in


delivery of large scale HR projects
 Responsible for building proposals, tools and other collaterals as part of continuous
business development efforts and knowledge/ capability building initiatives, in
collaboration with leadership and seniors

Project Delivery

 Support and lead certain engagement activities from planning to implementation including
identifying and helping manage potential issues and risks
 Demonstrate technical competence in our core capabilities and leverage relevant
experience and industry knowledge to develop implementable solutions
 Create and ensure high quality, insightful and accurate work products as per the agreed
upon timelines
 Encourage and facilitate collaboration amongst team members, and promote an inclusive
working environment
 Drive effective communication, cadence and build relations with internal and external
stakeholders
 Lead discussions with senior client counterparts to gather information, share
recommendations and deliver tailor made solutions to complex client problems
 Influence and persuade clients and concerned stakeholders to gain support for any major
change initiatives and/or decisions

Business Development

 Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals


and delivering presentations for potential clients
 Identify additional engagement opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients

Knowledge/ Capability Building Activities

 Support development of thought leadership, collateral, tools, techniques, methodologies,


etc. to enhance our core capabilities within the practice
 Contribute to practice led engagement initiatives in the capacity of a team member

Skills and attributes for success

 Fluency in English (additional language(s) will be considered as an asset)


 Strong interpersonal & communication skills and an ability to build impactful relationships
with stakeholders
 Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
 Flexibility to travel, both domestic and international, on a frequent basis
 Ability to work independently in ambiguous work environments
 Ability to effectively multi task and work under pressure while adhering to deadlines
 Exposure to a consulting environment with global clients or large scale HR transformation
projects, preferred

To qualify for the role you must have

 Post graduate degree or equivalent with a specialization in Human Resources (India or


abroad)
 3 - 5 years of work experience with technical competence in at least 2 of the areas
mentioned above

Ideally you’ll also have

 Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation


skills.
 Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
 Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
 Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
