School is the place that is required to teach kids a lot of different subjects.

Subjects
like computer science, economics and finance has become a must known, thus that there is
simply not enough time to teach the students everything. Prior to that a big problem in the
government has been issued on giving up at some more traditional subjects like geography
and history for other new ones. However, I believe that these subjects are important and
useful for our life.
People argue that history and geography only just require students to memorise useful
data. People argue that remembering these things is a useless skill in our modern days,
because you can find that kind of information easily on the internet. Some opinion sustains
say that history has no real meaning, because we should focus on the future. In addition, that
geography is unimportant because country boundaries are always changing and statistics such
as population and export data quickly becomes out of date.
In my opinion, however, geography and history lessons are not like this at all. I have
rarely been asked to memorise information in both subject. Consequently, I have learnt
valuable skills, including research, analyzing different sources of information, map-reading
and essay-writing. My history lessons have taught me how civilizations have developed and
interacted, and I find them fascinating. The geography lessons have inspired me to travel and,
perhaps, work towards solving some of the issues in today’s society
To sum up, I believe that traditional subjects like history and geography still play an
important role in the modern education systems.
