DESCTIPTIVE TEXT RAMADHAN

Ramadhan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. And is celebrated by Muslims around the
world. By fasting and commemorating the first revelation that came down to the prophet
Muhammad. According to Muslim beliefs. Fasting in Ramadhan is one of the Pillars of Islam. In my
neighbourhood before breaking the fast, my friends and I usually go for a walk while waiting for iftar.
After the Maghrib call to prayer, my family and I break the fast with a light meal. When Isya call to
prayer, my friends and I went to the Mosque to perform the tarawih prayer. After the tarawih
prayer, my friends and I read the Qur’an. Then after reading the Qur’an, my friends and I played
fireworks near the house.
