3.2 Vertical lifting

Figure 8 - Lifting a valve in vertical orientation

1. Attach four eyebolts to the top of the valve as shown in Figure 8.

2. Hook slings (shown as green in the figure) through the eyebolts and attach them to a larger sling
(brown). Use one sling for each eyebolt.
3. Attach the larger sling to a hook or a shackle.
4. Lift the valve carefully off the ground.
