4.1 Gland seal

1. Loosen nuts and remove screws at top of the gland.

2. Remove the gland yoke.
3. Remove the gland.

NOTE! In case packing rings need to be replaced it is advisable to remove old packing rings at
regular service intervals.

4. Pull out all used packing rings with a standard extractor (corkscrew type).
5. Thoroughly clean the stuffing box bore.
