To whom it may concern -

My name is Joe Amuso and I had the pleasure of mentoring Joe Economico during his
second placement here in the Brewster Central School district. Our building is an intermediate
level ( 3 - 5 grades ) school with a diverse population of students. Joe came to us very
confident in his teaching ability after the time he spent student teaching at the high school but
was very open to suggestions on how to effectively teach younger students. He acted upon
these suggestions as he made adjustments with his lessons as needed. During the time here
Joe was responsible for running different units and changing lessons to suit students in the
different grades. Joe was timely, professional, friendly with both students and teachers, and
always had a positive attitude.. Joe is my third student teacher and I feel is the most prepared
candidate I’ve had so far. I feel confident to say whomever hires Joe will get a quality Physical
Education teacher.
