We have two offices. The main office with has a Server 2008R2 DC and a
branch officed that has a 2008R2 RODC. These are set up as separate sites and
are connected via a VPN. On the RODC we are continuously getting these
errors in the Directroy Service log when trying to replicate. When running
dcdiag /test:connectivity everything passes.

When running repadmin /showreps, We receive an error 1727 "The remote

procedure call failed and did not execute" for the configuration and a error 1256
"The remote system is not available" for the DomainDnsZones and
ForestDnsZones.

When we run a repadmin /syncall it states it runs successfully but we still get the
same errors.

Also when we run repadmin /replicate stl-rodc server-01

dc=domaindnszones,dc=homewood1,dc=com it completes successfully.

Hi,

The 1311 event indicates the KCC couldn't connect up all the sites. The 1566
event indicates the DC could not replicate from any server in the site
identified in the event description. When logged, the 1865 event contains
secondary information about the failure to connect the sites and tells which
sites are disconnected from the site where the KCC errors are occurring.

In addition to the above suggestions, I also would like to share you the
following links for how to troubleshoot KCC Event Errors.
