1. What is Eco-lodge?
An ecolodge is simply a hotel or vacation spot that follows the philosophy of ecotourism. Eco lodges
focus on using renewable energy sources to provide power to their properties as well as using
energy efficient lighting and water preservation. They focus on recycling and often reusing in order
to positively impact the environment.

A seedling is a young sporophyte developing out of a plant embryo from a seed. Seedling
development starts with germination of the seed. A typical young seedling consists of three main
parts: the radicle (embryonic root), the hypocotyl (embryonic shoot), and the cotyledons (seed
leaves).
