Person 1 : Srikanth (BBA 2nd year)
90% won’t bring water bottle to college.
Don’t mind in drinking water around the campus.
He would rather buy a water bottle instead walking
n fetching it in the situation given.
He thinks water cans aren’t sufficient in his block.
Sometimes feels not to drink water from college as
the surrounding of cans aren’t clean.

Person 2 : Naveeth (Architecture 3rd year)

Finds insufficiency of drinking water around the campus.
Mostly brings water from home.
Brings 1L bottle abs mostly it is enough.
Been in situation where things not to drink water from College.
Thinks it would be better I’d water cans are all around.
Would save time over money.
Person 3 : Flaming marshal (Diploma, ECE, 3rd year)
Finds water insufficient around the campus.
Doesn’t carry water bottle to college as bag becomes heavy.
Don’t mind in walking to fetch water.
Have thought that watercans could be placed everywhere.
After sports practice wanted to drink water n goies to sports
department and the can would be empty.
It would me mostly clean if water is available in sports

But thinks not to drink from college as the can looks dirty.
Thinks that cans can be placed everywhere.

If he has money , he won’t mind in buying orelse prefer to walk to
fetch water.

Mostly won’t bring water bottle to college.
Many times felt insufficiency of water cansmainly in their
block.

Finds people be lazy to wash hands in washroom n was it in
drinking water.

after seeing the surrounding of the cans.

Will carry 750ml water bottle everyday.

Will get over every single period.
Frequently felt insufficiency of water.
After lunch break availability of wateris low in their block.
As a student would prefer to save money over time.

Redefined problem statement
The drinking water is insufficient in corridors of ASD
where most of the people wander and fetch water from,
due to the 2 - 3 hours of delay made to refill the watercans.

How might we statements

1. How might we create the refill of water cans is by
placing electric water purifier in which water will get
dispensed all the time when needed.
2. How might we create the refill of Water Can quickly is
by assigning attenders to check the water cans 1 - 2
hours once so that, they will get to know easily when it
gets empty.
3. How might we create the solution for immediate refill
of watercans, is by having a indicators / signals when
the water level is low so that the attendant can notice
and refill the cans quickly.
4. How much we create the solution to refill the cans
immediately is ,the students as a user can inform the
attenders once the can is empty or about to be finished.
5. How might we create a solution to refill the Watercan
immediately is by placing an extra can above the
previously placed can and by placing a plate in between
both the cans, so that, when the plate is being pulled the
watercan placed below will get refilled automatically.
Ideations for 5th HMW STATEMENT
1. A plate can be fixed in between the cans, so that, when it is
being pulled the can gets refilled automatically.
2. A sensor can be placed near the plate so that it can be filled
automatically when we touch the Can or the plate.
3. Cap Kind of opening can be placed in between the cans so
that When we turn it like a bottle cap the can gets refilled.
