SUBMISSION OF VIDEOS FOR DEMO TEACHING OF TEACHER APPLICANTS

1. Pursuant to the policies proposed by Inter-Agency Task Force for Emerging

Infectious Diseases relative to COVID-19 and the declaration that the province
of Bataan is still under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) ,
this Office hereby requires all teacher applicants to submit lesson plans and
pre-recorded videos of their Demonstration Teaching online.

2. This will enable the committee members to evaluate their teaching skill through
their pre-recorded demo teaching. Hence, all applicants are given the assurance
that data and videos submitted will not be used in any other way other than
this purpose.

3. The applicants will submit their lesson plan and demo teaching via this link:
https://bit.ly/SDOBTN_DemoTeaching which will be open from May 21,
2020 to May 29, 2020.

4. The length of the video uploaded should not be more than 15 minutes, hence
all applicants are advised to commence at the presentation of their lesson
ensuring that the highlights are included including the assessment. File size
should also not be more than 1 gigabyte.

5. The committee members who will evaluate the demonstration teaching are the
following:

a. Kindergarten & Elementary – EPS, PSDS & Central School Principal

b. Secondary – School Head & 2 Department Heads (preferably related to the
major or Track applied for).

*The link for retrieving the videos and lesson plans will be disseminated to the
committee members including consolidation of scores.
 6. Due to the limitations posed by the quarantine, it is understandable that the
applicants will have to conduct the video recording of their demo teaching at
the safety of their home. However, since the rubrics indicated in DepEd Order
No. 7, s. 2015 entitled “Hiring Guidelines for Teacher I Positions Effective SY
2015-2016” includes Classroom Management and Teaching procedures which
can be highly observable in a more natural setting, the applicant is advised to
make do with what he/she has.

7. Committee members are still strictly reminded to utilize the said rubric indicated
in the DepEd Order as their guide in evaluating with careful consideration as to
the limitations of the applicant.

8. Immediate and wide dissemination is hereby enjoined.
