Maintaining Daily, weekly & Monthly Reports. Maintaining the warehouse in a proper ways. Daily labors management.

y Community Mobilizer:
From 14th August 2010 to 1 november 2010, in PDI, partnership with Oxfam GB.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Distribution of shelter kits. Maintaining record. Social Mobilization. Communication between team members. Survey of Flood Affected Areas. Registration of Flood Affected Population. worked as a coordinator in flood under supervision of DDO Revenue shikarpur Providing free consultancy of national & international educational scholarships to needy & poor students.

Projects/areas worked on:

Assessments/baseline surveys I have been involved in rapid need assessment (RNA) of affected areas of district Shikarpur as part of Oxfam GB/PDI team. I have experience of conducting baseline survey of food security projects in district Shikarpur. Coordination I have also participated in different coordination meetings with NGOs/INGOs and District Government. Unconditional Cash Grant I have experience of implementing unconditional Cash Grant. In the very beginning of flood, I being part of Oxfam GB/PDI team implemented unconditional cash grant for 10,000 households in Shikarpur. I completely understand the implementation guidelines of Oxfam GB and PDI for unconditional cash grant project. I am well aware about the process of project i.e, Beneficiary selection, verification, token distribution and finally cheque distribution.

Conditional Cash Grant In early recovery, I being part of Oxfam GB/PDI team mobilized the community for conditional cash grant.

The project requires mobilization skills and expertise to mobilize the community to work for getting payment. It was hard to achieve the outcome in early recovery stage. But I being highly motivated mobilized the community and registered 2460 HHs as project beneficiaries and I have also facilitated Finance team in distribution of first round of cheques. I have gone through the process and procedure of conditional cash grant project and know the ground facts which are likely to be surfaced and also well aware about how to overcome the challenges. Cash for Work I have been part of Cash for Work Project for women. It was project of Quilt making and beneficiaries were 960 females. The female had to work in a group of 16, including one supervisor and 15 quilt makers. The raw material was given by Oxfam GB/PDI and each female had to prepare 15 quilts in week. Each female was getting Rs. 300/quilt and three rounds were repeated. I was part of this project from start till end and better know that how to involve females in project activities. I also know about the documentation and necessary record of the project. Distributions I have been part of mega distributions by Oxfam GB/PDI. E.g., distribution of quilts, household kits, hygiene kits, winter kits etc. I believe in integration of activities of WASH and EFSL for effective utilization of resources.

Monitoring I have been involved in monitoring of the activities in all the projects. I was doing both process and impact monitoring. Further I know how to conduct Focus Group Discussions and Post Distribution Monitoring.

Team Management I being field assistant is managing three community mobilizers. I have got experience of how to work as a team and to distribute roles and responsibilities among team members. I also know how to track the performance of the staff. Local knowledge Further I have privilege of being local and know all local languages. I am well awre about the culture and norms of the area.
