c. Are you coming in with a positive attitude, ready to learn?
2. Listen quickly and listen well
a. Respond to (specific attention getter) immediately
b. Put away all distractions and focus on instructions and the task at hand
3. Respect yourself by respecting others
a. Treat others how you would want to be treated
b. You earn more respect from people when you respect them and their space
and opinions
c. Respect your materials and your time by being an efficient and diligent worker
and by using your materials correctly for their intended purpose
4. Participate
a. It makes class more fun and it makes it easier for you to learn
b. Do so respectfully, acknowledging others may have different opinions
5. Take pride in your work
a. Anything you submit has your name on it and you want it to be a positive
reflection of your time and effort!
b. Taking pride means taking ownership of your work and your education
c. Doing your best is all you can do, and I am here to help you better your best
