Informative function: a brochure is usually used to inform your potential customers with regards to your company. This information is related to your company presentation, a new product or service that your company offers, or a recent change in your company name, etc. Advertising function: a brochure is really important as an advertising tool, which attractively allows you to promote one or more products or services. For further details this function will be analyzed in the section called Advertising aspect. Identification function: a well-done brochure design allows you to maintain a same criterion through all your company brochures. If this criterion (sometimes called concept) is unified in all the brochure types, it will make your company to be recognized automatically. It will give to your company prestige and credibility. It is important for your company brochure not only have a concept, but also to have a logo: a well designed logo is essential for any company, is one of the first steps to start an advertising campaign.
Main Text The main text clearly talks about what the school is offering to ones interested in it. It should be able to entice people to really like the pace and eventually be one of its students, or to advertise and to popularize the school. This may also serve as reference when comparing the said school to other schools who offer more services but the cost of which is largely different to which this school is offering. If the marginal benefit exceeds the marginal cost, then maybe its up to the individual to choose which is more appropriate in his/her point of view
Contact Information This is, perhaps, the single most important element to get right in the brochure. Without this piece, it will be impossible for consumers to reach the said institution. List of business's name, important persons name, an address, a phone number, an email and a website, if available. It is wise to put this information both on the back cover of the brochure and on the inside near the main text
Other Parts:
Photos The business owner can insert eye-catching photographs of his product, service or location of the business. Target Groups The brochure designer should know who the typical consumer is for the business' product or service, and what age group the brochure should be focused on. Appearance The brochure should be bi-fold or tr-fold in form. The designer will start with a mock-up brochure to test out how it will look to potential customers.
