National Health Sector of Saudi Arabia

To overcome the challenges such as over demand due to rapid population growth, inequitable
access, growing diseases and to overcome poor coordination between the health care sectors
the government of Saudi Arabia has implemented The strategic plan of Ministry of Health by
collaborating in the health sector of Saudi Arabia (WHO, 2016).

The health sector of Saudi Arabia is a health care system on a national system through this
health care system the government of Saudi Arabia provides the free healthcare services to
the people of Saudi Arabia through number of different government agencies. The private
sector has also seen to have a growing contribution in providing the health care services to
the people.

The Collaboration of the public and private companies in the health sector provides the
support for the citizen of the Saudi Arabia to have a free access to the services of the public
and private healthcare centres in the country, these healthcare sectors are usually funded by
the central government.

Collaboration to healthcare
The Saudi Arabian health care sector has taken a step to initiate to overcome the challenge of
the growing rapid diseases in the society and ensuring that people around the nation whether
they are of rural citizens or urban citizens they are capable of fighting the diseases they
encounter by collaborating in the national health sector on private and public level. The
healthcare centre offers various services to the citizens such as intensive care for adults and
children, laboratory blood bank, dermatology, emergency departments (ER) and so on.
Therefore, Saudi Arabia has been ranked among 26 best countries that provides the good
healthcare to their citizens there are companies that collaborate in the health care system
through which The citizens are able to receive free treatment for instance the National
Medical Care Company is a Saudi closed shareholding company having its headquarters in
Riyadh. The company operates two private hospitals in the capital having bed capacity
ranging from 124 to 340 (EMIS, 2022).

Health Care Centre Vision for 2030

The Vision of 2030 of health care centre in Saudi Arabia is a program aims to restructure the
health sector in the country to be effective and integrate health care system for both
individual level and societal level. This would include the the citizen that are resident and
visiting the country. The program also aims to improve the access of patients to the health
services through the equitable geographical distribution and optimal coverage for all. Also it
aims to expand the e-health services for the patients to provide digital solutions and
improving the system of the health care centres. One of the most important aim of this vision
is to create the harmony and coordination between all health centres and sectors, VRPs and
relevant government bodies, and linking this transformational journey of the health care
vision to the national goals strategic ( Vision2030, 2022)

Conclusion

The National healthcare centre of Saudi Arabia is the health sector that provide free access to
all the citizen to get treated for the disease they encounter and ensure health life style among
its citizen.
The Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015 also known as
the Global goals that aims to take a universal action against the poverty by eliminating it and
protection the planet Earth in order to maintain peace and poverty globally.
