INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF

ACCOUNTING AND BUSINESS (iCAB) 2021

‘TECHNOLOGY AS A TRUSTED COMPANION FOR ACCOUNTANTS AND
BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS IN THE BUSINESS UNUSUAL SITUATION’
COVID19 has shown us that technology is a trusted companion in the ‘business unusual’ situation. As
COVID19 spread across the globe, most governments responded by restricting people’s movements. For
many professionals, technology became the primary tool for continuing economic activities. This conference
aims to bring together researchers from different Accounting and Business Management fields to share
ideas, especially in the fourth industrial revolution (4IR). For iCAB 2021, contributions are welcome from
all areas of Accounting and Business Management that use robust and well-accepted research methods.
Papers will undergo double-blind peer review, and if accepted, they will be published in a corresponding
conference proceeding. The conference proceeding will have an ISSN/ISBN. The iCAB will be hosted by the
University of Johannesburg, School of Accounting in Johannesburg, South Africa.
